Welcome to the Onyxgate website
for the
RPGA
Network's
Living Greyhawk
Campaign. Living Greyhawk (LG) is an epic Role Play Gaming
Campaign designed to involve players globally in an immersive and
evolving game world which is influenced by their actions.
Living Greyhawk is
currently the largest Living campaign in the history of the RPGA. In
2002, over
14,000 people played in the campaign, and our numbers continue to grow
each
month.
The Campaign is divided into local regions, which are
each assigned to real world locations. Each region is managed by
three individuals known as the Triad. The regional Triad's
reports to six coordinators known as the Circle of Six, or
simply the Circle.
Living games spring from the fundamental idea that a
home-style role-playing campaign can be expanded into a global
campaign, enjoyed by thousands of people. Your character in a home
game is one of four or so Player Characters, but in a Living game, you
can interact with hundreds and hundreds of other PCs, all of them
living and adventuring in the same game world as your character. Many
people new to Living games confuse them with live-action role-playing,
but Living games don't require that you dress up in costume,
play-act like your character, or behave any differently than you would
at any tabletop role-playing game that you would enjoy with your
friends. If you have role-played before, then you're ready to
enjoy a worldwide Living game.

Zeif in the Database
Readying 15, 596 CY (12-Feb-2006) by Robert Moon
The database now recognizes the Sultanate of Zeif (ZEF) as an official region. Our friends in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan may now switch their characters' home regions accordingly. The web team apologizes for this tardy change.
